Tomorrow, the Dragon squads race in the Tennessee State Championships at Victor Ashe Park in Knoxville Tennessee. This is the 4th year in a row the Lady Dragons have made it to state and 3 years in a row for the Dragons.

In 2018, Emily Maxwell and Allie Timms led the Lady Dragons to a 5th place finish. Emily finishing 24th overall with a time of 14:06 with Allie finishing 35th with a time 14:23. Other notable runs from the Lady Dragons, in 2017, Anna Higginbotham finished 23rd with a time of 13:19, Emma Hurlbut finished 36th overall with a time of 13:49 and Jessica Francis 45th with a time of 13:59, allowing the Lady Dragons to take 5th place.

The Dragons finished 6th in 2018, led by Beckham Clements, Noah Flaskamp and Clayton Maxwell. Beckham Clements finished 44th overall with a time of 13:09, Noah Flaskamp finished 58th overall with a time of 13:25 and right behind Noah, Clayton Maxwell finished 60th with a time of 13:25.

The Dragons history with the Tennessee State Championships started in 2013 when Garrett Meier and Ethan Boucher made it to this race for the Dragons. Garrett Meier finished 100th with a time of 13:14 and Ethan Boucher finished 257 overall with a time of 14:26.
